Just stare at the ceiling into the night,
This broken heart just ain’t good for my soul,
Another love lost has taken its toll,
It’s blood in my veins now; no longer prose,
As swift as it came, it suddenly goes,
Angry dreams, ruby red,
As thick as the blood-flows from the dead,
A deeper shade of black than I ever knew before,
Paints the eyelids of the one that I adore,
He doesn’t see me now, just a shadow of what I am,
How I wish I had it in me not to give a damn,
But each time he looks through me, I die a little more inside,
And I sink into myself; into the love that he lied,
My senses are weak, they’re craving his touch,
It’s not lust, or love, as such,
It’s just an ache that I can’t explain,
No, wait a minute, you might call it pain. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 182 [topic] => 22 [informant] => Ruby2sdy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

Wow, This was really good. I could so feel the pain in this write. This part really tore at me.

Love is a lot like pain isnt it? The only differance is you dont really feel better after love is gone. lol I think I prefer pain.

I liked this
Very well done

The feeling you describe I know too well I suggest you use the memory to make a future song
