Inspired by 'Under the Ivy' - Kate Bush and 'Where the Wild Roses Grow' - by Kylie Minogue and Nick Cave. Both of which I recommend to listen to, or failing that, just check the lyrics on google.

There's supposed to be a form of magical romantiscm here. Hope. And it's also supposed to have a lyrical feel about it.

Feedback would be really appreciated.

Can You Feel It?

Woman
It won't take long for me to tell you
The place where I hide
The place you can find me
When I am not around

Man
Will you tell me where to find you?

Woman
If you shook me gently
You could wake me
Bring me back to this place
And I'd leave my secret deep inside

Man
Will you tell me where to find you?
When I need to touch you
When I need to breathe you

Woman
If you ever want to find me
I'll be in the dream
Special space
Room for one more

Man
Will you tell me where to find you?
When I need to touch you
When I need to breathe you
You tell me 'bout the garden

Woman
So if you wake me gently
Show me how you feel
If you feel it truly
I will show you where I belong

Man
The place under the roses
You say that's where I'll find you
It starts off so empty
I let the silence grow

Woman
When I know you well
You'll be able to call to me
When I'm in my space
You'll be able to reach me

Man
Then I can feel you there
You're in the dream
And I can almost touch you
Know that you are there

Together
And when we're lost

Man
I can go down to the garden

Woman
I can go into my dream

Together
The curve under the roses
And then we will be found [comments] => 2 [counter] => 207 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Sproglet [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
