Every morning
Just to let me know you care
Im so afraid
That I might wake
One day to no one there
And find the past is back to haunt me
My dreams are there to taunt me
And nobody else wants me
And Im alone
So far from home
Baby
I believe
This is what Ive been searching for ~
With you in my life
How could I
Ever want for something more ?
Kiss me
Every evening
Just before I fall asleep
If I dont wake
I want to take
That memory with me
And let it see me through the dark times
Carry me across the hard lines
Exonerate me of my heart crimes
Fight the despair
Until you get there

There is nothing we cant do
With you as my guide ~
How could I
Ever find a love more true ?

Scotty ~ I can't tell you what this means to me. It has such a deep and
wonderful feeling that I sooooo relate to. It is exceptionally beautiful, my
friend. A glorious write and tribute to a love that will last beyond eternity.
I love this. I truly do, hun. You never cease to amaze me with how well you
trap your emotions and squeeze them out through your pen. outstanding
I thought the piece was completely stunning in it's entirety but these lines
struck a sentimental chord in my heart ..

Very romantic poem, which expresses a lot of feeling. Also, emphasizes keeping love alive through dreams and deals with values such as commiment, loyality and a sincere relationship covenant.

Ahh, and the hopeless romantic shines through... Yes, I know of this. Probably many do. For who can deny the touch of love? Nor forget it? The form is simple, and so are the words, yet... they hold an infinite profoundness only you can master. An exceptional piece from an exceptional soul.
