I feel totally alone, backed into a proverbial
Corner not of my own making I'm quickly running out
Of escape plans. So many negative emotions
Attacking me from all angles, sadness, fear, frustration
Close in for the kill.

I can't shake this feeling of despair weighing me
Down like a sack of bricks, I want to cry for help
But I know even if I do my cries will fall only upon
Deaf ears. My mind is convinced it's impossible to
Get to the root of the problem I sometimes think to
Myself I'm too far gone, but my heart and my sole
Disagree and refuse to give up the fight.

The emotions are closing in on me each second I
Become more and more overwhelmed, feeling the hunt is about to
Reach its climax the emotions get ready to pounce. I
Get up and shout at the top of my voice
"A cornered fox is more dangerous
Than a pack of hunter dogs"

I lash out… to an empty room
…So lonely

WOW...I love the style you chose for this..any other way would not have done it justice. I could feel the pace picking up as i read it..just like i imagine a hunt would be like. If you ever want to talk..I'm here..I'll listen.

Yes WOW, this piece allows you to image the inter feelings of what you are going through. Just know that even though think you backed into a corner, a fox is sly and cunning majority of the time finds it’s away out of almost anything. So know that there is always someone out here to help you in your time of need. All you have to do is ask my friend. May you find peace and joy in your heart. Know that I am willing to talk young man.

I can relate to this very well, sometimes I feel trapped in a corner. You have written down so well. Thank you for sharing. Sue x
