[title] => Try Not to Try for a Lullaby
[time] => 2006-10-03 13:13:00
[hometext] => I'm back with something un-emo for a change. My heart is healing so I can finally write about other stuff. This is about state of the world and our attitudes towards it.
[bodytext] => Urban myths deposit raw hate on fields and plains, Try telling that to the brains, Big power walks in and takes what's not theirs, Try finding someone that cares. New religions starting everyday, Try taking a holiday, Men in black laugh and take away, Try not spending your pay, Old trees ripped down to make my new bed, Try this warm pillow beneath my head, Young souls hurt are left for dead, Try painting a town red. Try not to try for a lullaby. Weary woman counts souls in the bank, Try not to count all the tanks, Broken souls count the cost of loss, Try not to tell the boss. Broken cars fill lungs with smoke, Try not to share the joke, Ships in sky float cares away, Try to make yourself stay. Younglings learn at ages young, Try not to get hung. Good souls sing songs of despair, Try to keep that good hair. Try not to try for a lullaby, And when they ask why, Just say you tried...
