Array ( [sid] => 12632 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Sleeping Beauty [time] => 2003-02-14 22:00:00 [hometext] => this is not olhip this is his son exiled. i wrote this poem for the woman i love and the mother of my child. hopefully soon her and i can be together once more. [bodytext] => "sleeping beauty"

complacnecy found within your eyes.
taking the revolver from my hand.
the sleeping beauty calms my wake.
forcing the tears of dust from my face.
in an age of nothing.
i re-ignite my own intoxication.
drowning in the truths uncovered.
i can't lose you, it's all or nothing.
dare to believe, just one last time.
let me in the mists of your beautiful mind.
another dream that will never come true.
remember the sensation washes over you.
standing in the middle of a dead sea.
having nothing left but your beliefs.
look far ahead there's absolutely nothing.
nothing but the sleeping beauty.
gone away, hoping for something.
compalcency found within your eyes.
living in a broken lie.
your grow with time, sprouting off a new life.
no more are we alone,
you stand beside me in a sea of life.
the eyes of angels are upon you.
their wings caressing you skin,
keeping you safe from sin.
i love you, just give me a sign.
show me what to do
so that i don't lose you.
dare to believe, just one last time.
staring into your complacent eyes.
awaken my sleeping beauty,
and see the beauty you bring to life. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 55 [informant] => olhip [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
