At the height of lunacy we shifted
No great memories there
I wonder of this mixture, and it’s carelessness
Does anything matter anymore?
What day is it anyway
Why do we stencil feelings
And wrap pressures so tight within
I’d like a breeze, and some refrain
Perplexed animation, these rains are falling heavy
Me? I’m okay
Habitation and dialect, these things bother themselves
People diverse despondent deposed
Me? I’m okay
Good, now it’s raining, whatever it is
I’m sure I’ve been there, harbored in health, and dignified
Bleary memory makes it seems so
My blanket calls and serenity comes to get me
But who the hell am I anyway
Some things just are

rain..blankets..they go good together..with a book of Yeats and some hot tea..that would bring serenity here. nice job.

Wow. That last line is just ... well, it's just EVERYTHING isn't it?

some things most definitely just are!

This read like the activities going on in a conflicted
(and perhaps confused), mind; not quite knowing
whether it really believes the words, "Me? I'm okay"

wonderfully thought stirring.
