to uncover the mystery

in the slumber mist of my inner cave i awaken to the smell of your fear
the words of before of past pain and a longing for something to hold
but in the shielding of your precious desires and your hidden pain
the bond of us will never be until you give yourself to those fears

you hold me in the dark the tears soothe me in this awful feeling of loss
of being alone to wander forgotten in desolate desires of flesh or
to uncover the mystery of your empty heart and the cell that keeps it that way
and the rage of man that burns deep in your eyes from past experience and hate
will you be able to let go to live the way we should to forget the ignorance you were shown

i crawl back in my inner cave closing out the taste of your tears
hearing you in your repetitive voice trying to make belief of that anger
seeing that we all are from the same mould never able to get off all fours
i sense i divide coming in the images of pigs in filth and a bastard to your hope
will you let me in or make me another image the same as the rest
i love you and pain will come but to hide is defeat to grow is the way
forget them my love the words sounding hollow i love you now
