Array ( [sid] => 125537 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Storm [time] => 2006-09-09 17:51:21 [hometext] => This poem was inspired by a near death experience, this poem is dedicated to Jenna [bodytext] => The Storm is brewing,
I can see the clouds coming.
I tell my friends to start the boat,
We need to get going.

The Sky grows dark now,
It starts to rain,
Now it starts to get bad.
The Waves get bigger,
The Rain comes down harder,
It is now starting to Hail.

I look to the Sky,
And Lightening streaks by,
And I Pray to God,
Please see us safely home.

The Boat gets stuck,
I Jump over in instinct,
To get us Free.
But I can't get back in,
My Friend has my arm,
But he can't Pull me in.

Finally I can get back on the Boat,
And I Lower my head,
And Pray.

I pray to God Above,
I pray to go Home,
I pray to see Tomorrow,
I pray to see Her.

If only she knew how I Feel,
If only I could Tell her so.
So I pray my Heart out,
So I can tell her my true Feelings.

Jenna,
This is for you.
I Pray to see you one more time,
I Pray to talk to you one more time,
I Pray to comfort you one more time.

I care about you,
More than you know,
I couldn't fid the words,
To tell you so.

So take this to Heart,
I Love you, Jenna.

The Storm is getting worse,
But my Heart lightens,
I see Land,
I see our Way Out.

I will Talk to you once more,
I will See you once more,
I will Comfort you once more.

This Storm changed my life,
This Storm made me see the Light.
This Storm has changed me,
For the better I hope.

This Storm has made me realize,
How much I Care for you. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 191 [topic] => 2 [informant] => EddieDean [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
