[title] => Never Be Her Home
[time] => 2006-09-05 17:26:47
[hometext] => Another one about a beautiful summer slipping away.
[bodytext] => I walked a pathway full of peaches, That seemed to lead to golden beaches, Where my fair maiden leaned back smiling, Then stroked my hair and helped me home. We strolled through fields of corn and haystacks, I let go fears of looking far back, And my fair Kathryn gripped me tightly, That knowing gaze as we drove home. I wondered at her soul at nighttime, And asked if I was part of her rhyme, She gave fair answers, told me rightly, That I could never be her home. I still look up to heavens dreaming, Inside my heart is slowly screaming, As my fair girl's true love is leaving, And now I'm feeling so alone.
