The waters so free
The wind has no care
Oh the depths of the sea!
This life's so troubled
These tasks these trials these needs
Things I don't want
The many ways we bleed
The hurtful acts
Man against man
All these are gone
When I sail
You say it's my responsibility
I just jibe and rail
Against this truth
It's not on me
I didn't make this mess
Neither the Sea
We are guiltless in this
And the wind is calling
The birds take wing
And so must I
So I'm lost
In my love of sailing
Like a current I flow
Oblivious, my sails full
Lifes cares in my wake
My horizion a glow
With hope and peace
And so I sail
And let go.... [comments] => 3 [counter] => 169 [topic] => 14 [informant] => twbanter [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DreamsandWishes )

Wow man, this was nice. I was caught up in the sailing....so much I was sure I heard seagulls and felt a spray of water.
I'm sailing along too. Thanks for the ride.
Great write.
Peace,
Laura

An impressive way to let all the struggle and
stress of daily life go.

The ending was serene .. enjoyable read Tom.
