Leaving me unable to hide,
From your cold and icy glare,
Nothing to do but return your stare,
And see the truth emerge from your eyes,
Shrouded by anger and bittersweet lies,
I wish that the floor would swallow me whole,
Purity, innocence; it’s theft is your goal,
As once again you kiss my lips,
Drink from my soul in tiny sips,
Leaving me disgusted and longing,
Searching for some sort of belonging,
The room starts to spin in a violent haze,
I’m lost within a crazy maze,
No way out but the place I begun,
The war might be lost, but the battle is won,
Yet winning isn’t all it seems,
I’ve broke my heart and bruised my dreams,
Even sleep eludes me now,
A ship that sails with a broken bow,
A sail torn within this mist,
Those bleeding lips that I once kissed,
Place themselves upon my neck,
What once sailed becomes a wreck,
Rotting away under this sea,
No room for you, no place for me,
So walk from this dungeon and leave me to cry,
But no, please don’t say it; don’t ever say goodbye. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 159 [topic] => 73 [informant] => Ruby2sdy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => abstract )

Is this how you're feeling now 2sday? usual high standards of expression evident-just so so sad. Hope you're ok.
