Father;
I stand out in the night
Staring at starry heavens, wondering.
Countles stars made by your hand
will there be one for me?

Father;
My heart has been broken.
In so many ways
In so may pieces
Please tell will i mend?

Father;
The storms of life are coming closer
Growing in strength and fiercenes
Will you be there?
Will you be my rock?
To seek shelter with, when the storm strikes?

Father;
My path has been clouded
No choices left in what was once my vision
Tell me; Will you guide me, show me where to go?

Father;
I speak my mind and soul
The night is quiet
The stars are all dead
The moon shines no more
You are quiet

Father, why have you forsaken me? [comments] => 4 [counter] => 189 [topic] => 11 [informant] => AerandirA [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )

You say you are a pagan - I tell you that you are not.
I feel like crying tears at your depth of empathy with our Lord's lonliness.and feeling of total abandonment.
Blessed be the poet who can emphasize so deeply !
Very beautiful and stirring
Elizabeth

This is a very powerfull loving write.
I find that God has never forsaken me but at times, I forsake him.
We're only human but he is the almighty!
luv, huggs, strength. joy, peace,

I think you're still searching for something. This poem is very heartfelt. He has not abandoned you, know that, my friend. He is always with you.
