that represents money gained or money lost
They'll do the same for you too
And christen us all to a chart of net profits and losses
That will be studied to help improve efficiency
and that will be my only lasting legacy

All I can do is drag my heels into the dirt
so that one day my number on the chart will be in bold red
That I can leave behind a .02% drop in annual profits
A wasted cause, a financial burden on the state
Just to slow it down one more day

When I'm dead, they'll go through my records and add up my life

Your last poem Waves intrigued me.
I was'nt sure exactly what it meant.
Sadly I do know exactly what this one
means and I know you are right.
This is powerful and I applaud you
for your rebellion. Just remember you
are not alone in these feelings and
views. I hope someday we can have
something more for our lives then this.
