Does my smile seem fake, do these feelings seem out of place, Will there be a tomorrow, is there even a today, Wonder for those that wonder, As it goes for the road less travelled, Smile for the clouds, for they have tears in their eyes, Give into desire, search for what hides inside, The sun may be bright, but the moon protects the night, Shooting stars and oceans afar, Waves play chase but land gets in the way, Peace is yet a dream, violence is our reality, Come what may, that’s what they always say, The world will still turn, and hearts will always yearn, Love will always be beautiful, and heartbreaks will remain unbearable, Lonely souls will seek and find, someone to hold them time after time, Is it right or could it be wrong, Are my words empty, or could they have meaning, Am I awake, can I still be dreaming? Are you still there, does anyone really care?
