I am just one in many, many of the same

Many of the times we went insane

I was just acting, pretending on the stage

I am your nastiness when you are disgusted

I am your sloppiness when the shine has rusted

I am your unhappiness when the time has passed

I am the kick when your leg makes its pass

I am the idiot who wasted these words so fast

I am the pilot who commissioned the crash

I am your worshiper, your slave
A true admirer of your face

A believer of your dreams
I encourage you to be free

I am your confidence
With which you brim
With which you approach
A hurtful situation so grim
Wipe on that silly grin
And wipe off a tear
Sparkles in your eye
I hand you my heart
With it, all my love I impart

I am your listener, your proverbial ear
I am your wanderer
Searching for our comfort
I want to be your everything
Your all-encompassing body of truth

I am your follower
You are my flower

I provide the ground on which you walk
I am the syllables of which you talk
I own the books from which you have been taught
I am the meaning for the question you once sought
