you've lied to me again
just like all the times before
or could it be the truth?
I can't tell anymore
all the words mean so little
you just open your mouth to hurt me
you lie and say mean things
you make me weaker
more unstable
I can't think straight
repeating your words in my head
they sound so real
you whisper them in my ear
forcing them into my head
driving me in madness
because you know
I believe you.

| i understand the meaning of being lied to. i have had someone lie to me and then when he was telling the truth i didn't know wheather or not to believe him. i as well have lied to someone that i have deeply loved and still in love with. i now know telling the truth comes first in a relationship. i don't care what people say. it doesn't feel good to be lied to or to lie to someone you love. i wrote alot of poems like this because i felt bad . Good write. |
