A Sinners Requiem
On the bitter street of long forgotten memories Silently, slowly the rain falls Beneath the neon halo Of a flickering light
There on the cold steel table of reality he lay His legs broken, His eyes removed Helpless to the cruel & unforgiving world
Societys fallen angel, once so pure Now defiled by the markings of sin Awaiting a chance for a final salvation
The room: a cell to bind him Mother: a fond memory Father: the judge who sentences him A sinners life: the executioner to kill him

| Thought this had a lot of potential to be a good poem. Nicely written but it felt like there should've been more to read. Bit rushed. Would u consider a re-write or maybe an extension on it? |

I sinner's life may kill him but I've had fun on the way down.
Eternally Punished,
