Array ( [sid] => 123193 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => In Honor of Tara McAvoy [time] => 2006-07-15 02:43:34 [hometext] => It hurts to lose someone special to you. I wonder if I will ever get over it, but I hope I never do. [bodytext] => You left me there
On the sidewalk
Near the corner of
Pain and Heartbreak.

I'm in hell without you
And each thought goes back
To the wonderful person you were -
A knife of sadness in my heart each time.

You were there for everyone,
Such a giving soul,
Steadfast, determined and successful
And never above others for it.

And maybe it was your time,
I understand that,
But **** it, it hurts me.
It's just not fair.

I really miss you, Tara,
I really do.
It tears me up that you're gone, Tara,
It tears my heart in two.

You left me there
On the sidewalk
Near the corner of
Pain and Heartbreak.

And no place to go from there. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 388 [topic] => 39 [informant] => TheSpiritx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )

This is heart wrenching but well written.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
Hope you feel better soon.
huggs, prayer,
emy

So very sad, and nothing anyone says will ever come close to making it better, time heals as best it can, but a broken heart repaired remains scarred for life, I wish you all the happiness that you deserve, and may you never get over her. A very beautiful poem, and a wonderful tribute, thank you for sharing,

Tuesday x

This poem is filled with tenderness
and sorrow. Your vivid description
of your pain is very effective. A few lines
I would like to point out are these:

You left me there
On the sidewalk
Near the corner of
Pain and Heartbreak.

What a creative way to explain how you
feel. Your manipulation of words is beyond
excellent. Great work with this poem!
