Once reality hit I realized I couldnt have you
Because I wasnt the only one who had a passion for you
Im letting you go slowly, no I dont want to
I wanted my chance to love you even my chance to hate you
Just the chance to even be with you, to hold your hand
Sometimes I see you looking deeply at me
But I am afraid Ill fall in love with you and not be able to have you
So I quickly turn away trying to resist the soft touch from your eyes
This is how life is you cant have what you want and I want you
Maybe one day we will be just not today
And we just might never be today nor tomorrow
We all dream big dreams even when we know they are hard to achieve
Its Funny how I miss you already even though I never had you
