She sits on the edge of the bed, staring at him sleeping. She wonders what this life is. She wonders where it’s going. She lost the one thing she needed and kept the one thing she can’t have.
She’s world away from where he is. He’ll never understand where she’s been. She’ll never understand the nightmare he’s lived. They love each other blindly and die by each other’s hands.
One holds a gun, the other, a knife. One wants to live, the other wants life. Holding onto the last shreds of their sanity…they die.
She cries so much, the tears never end, because he just will never understand.
He hates her so much, but then wants her so bad, even knowing all she wants it to be dead.
They hold each other blindly and force the passion out. They hurt each other just to know, they’re not the only ones.
She wants him to see she fears nothing and that she wants to be everything.
He wants her to know he wants the life he lost and the girl he sees in his dreams.
They both lost it all for the other, but they both want each other.
It’ll never be right, laying there at night.
It’ll never be right because they both want something else.

Nicely written. It seems to tell the story of what I recently went through. Thanks for sharing.

A dramatic, yet deeply envisioned write. "One wants to live, the other wants life", great choice of words. Very good write. Kimberly
