Array ( [sid] => 122765 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Or you can lie [time] => 2006-07-05 07:55:45 [hometext] => This is about being locked out from the one you love because of their self made chains. The question remains do you push them or do you stand back... [bodytext] => You take it upon yourself to destroy
That world and all its slaves
Yet you are one of them
To their rules your body obeys

I can help you
But you will not let me in
How often have I begged of you
From the very beginning

Show me your troubled heart
From inside your soul
Stare into my eyes
Show me all I want to know

Or you can lie to me
Once again tell me not your name
Tell me nothing of the horrors witnessed
Tell me nothing of your game

Betrayed by your sense of honor
Doing what is wicked for the right
Twisted in your web of lies
Hiding from the light

Will you ever be free of your self-made chains
Binding you to your duty
In an attempt to right past wrongs
You miss out on seeing the world’s true beauty

You forever fight a hidden war
That only those who look ever find
Yet there is another battle fought
In the shadows of your mind

I will stand back and let you go
As I cannot keep you sheltered
But know this as you risk your life
In my own heart you are forever protected

-I only realised after I wrote this that it fits in perfectly with one view of the Severus/Hermione relationship... and i wasnt even trying...lol
