When i'm around you i feel weak
Alone life is a waste of energy
You were it for me
So as you walk away and a tear falls from my eye
Remember our memories
And don't let this be goodbye
Whatever you think is for the best i'm behind you
If you ever feel second best please let this remind you
You're important, you're beautiful, you're strong
When life gets tough i want you to hold on
The way your eyes glisten, the compassion in your touch
How you know how to listen when i need to be heard so much
Young boy with the weight of the world on your chest
Stands like a man ten times better than the rest
If you ever need a crying shoulder
I'm here forever
Remember what i told ya
Forget you, i could never
So go live it up i'll never forget you
Don't try to give up you know i won't let you
I have faith that you can do it all
If you ever need a friend i hope i'm the one you call
I'm trying to give you the best of me
But i feel like there's nothing left in me
The times we had were unforgettable
Wish i could replay them in my mind
Every moment shared was unregretable
But they'll fade soon with time
I might not know it all but i know pain believe me
I felt my heart fall when you said you were leaving
You're far from forsaken you're loved
No mistaken, my angel from above
The laughter, the pinches, the endless tears
I'll keep them locked inside
And even after 1,000 years
I'll never let them die
