Wake up, darling, now you're dead
You chose to answer a question that had none
Who's the girl holding her cancer underneath the setting sun
You swept like death into me and now I can't understand your words
Wisked away into an empty dream, dull reality and lots of pretty birds

Your thoughts together-

Seamless as I sit utterly dreamless

I wonder often where my feeling went and why I appear to be dead--grab a needle, grab a thread
Sew me up with passive tendencies, stuff them into my long lost head

You bend to make. And just begin to break--
Thoughts I cannot take. As my world begins to twist and shake--

Thoughts of things I cannot take.

Happy.
Sad.
I'm alive.
I'm glad.

Grab a handle. Where's the broom?
Who has the key and who's locked inside the room?

Wrestle with a feeling
Hopeful and dreaded
I feel sick like disaster
But the needle is still threaded.
