She was the apple of everyone's eye But her happiness was only skin deep For her smile was a lie There was a sinking feeling She couldn't understand and didn't know why She had suicidal thoughts within Which she could neither define nor deny Perhaps they were caused by the breaking of her heart When her beau left her in loneliness Her world was falling apart Although surrounded by friends she felt a certain emptiness Dizzying emotions swirled endlessly in her mind She was on the verge of insanity Running out of time What was left in humanity?
