I would fly high into the sky,
to escape from all this pain.

If I had wings...
I would travel around the world,
for I know that's the only way I will see it all.

If I had wings...
I would go to the moon,
and look at the stars that shine upon your face.

If I had wings...
I would go to the beach,
and sit on the sand and dream about us
walking here someday hand in hand.

If I had wings...
I would fly to you,
and I would say...
"Let me be your wings so I can guide you to my
world for I know that there our love will never fade away."

And if you were here,
and I had wings...
then they would disappear,
for you are the only reason why I would stay. i like this a lot, and i can relate to it very much. there are times when i wish that i had wings, i would fly so far away, and you are right. there is only one reason why i would stay. the only reason.
i enjoyed this very much. keep up the good work.

This is really nice.

I have a fondness for simple poetry. Poems that say it all without overly dramatising, or embellishing.

This is wonderfully honest and straight to the point.

That was cool... I always use to wish I had wings. I would fly so high into the sky and yes I would go to the moon as well. Good write.
