As facts build up
And questions mount
Answers have flipped in a roundabout
Way what you once believed
And held true in your heart
Is not the beginning
The same place it starts
From the pits of the belly
Lubricated by natural jelly
Slipped into the world
And held in arms of serenity

Standing guard on empty hallways where people once walked
In the café’s where people sat and talked
Indulged in the drink of the day with no reason to toast
No boisterous boast
Fists tucked in respective pockets-
and on their own
Grips hang on to friendship
While the bank denies the loan
Defiles the holy throne
A reptile of a sneaky variety,
Actions I can not condone
The marble tiles line the floor neatly
Coherently an approach was observed from inside the pantry
Arbitrary people who come in to life to leave eventually
Snakes among the grass take shade from the heat under the palm tree
Alone
In a monotone
Voice the faint hush recedes to silence
When caught red handed the criminal resorts to violence
A minimal amount needed to enrage God
Exacerbate the tolerance of a phony façade
Eliminate all remaining evidence that it was ever allowed
To occur without permission
A voice clear and loud
Raining down from the heavens
Are leaves once red, and yellow, now are brown
From the doorsteps of creation
The way ever found

Good golly Miss Molly! Perhaps you are truthful in your naming of your poem? Blessings for I was just kidding. Keep writing and thank you for sharing.
