And take this life my only will

This heart of rock and firm desire
Yet burns with oldest crimson fire

My eyes set deep inside your head
The only kick since you've been dead

Your soul to travel this limbo plain
My soul set free to shake this pain

Was it me who held the knife to you
Or loosed a bullet in deepest blue

And sweeped it into warmest red
And through this hell where you were lead

Yet I set free your fate to mock
And I gave you your final knock

Over the edge of consiousness
To purgatory, nothing less

I slit your wrists and took your life
Strangled you and used you knife

To take the heart from your beating chest
And feed to family and the rest

Of those who revelled in your fate
Because destiny called me into hate

Twas not my choice to take your life
The fates controlled my angry strife

The things you did were made to harm me
And your life could just alarm me

Over the edge into your grave
To death and life I was a slave

This story, for that's all it is,
Makes manys' blood to boil and fizz

Over their eyes and into my mind
My sanity I must now find [comments] => 2 [counter] => 207 [topic] => 13 [informant] => somnium [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
