|
I have seen the darkness in my heart
But now I've made a new start
I have found my savior
Found his healing light
I opened myself to him
And for him I live my life
The Lord has raised me up
From darkness to light
I now live in pure bliss
Peace and not hate
I opened my heart to his grace
Now my life can truely begin
Saved from myself and sin
I enjoy the fruits of this life
For the Lord has taken all my strife
I pray to him and thank him for all my gifts
He has saved me from the dark
I wish I would have known him from the start
