A lonely boy, oh how sad
he has no where to go
nobody to turn to
what will ever become of him?
An abused girl, she so scared
nobody will ever listen
nobody will hear her cries
what will ever become of her?
He walks down the road
same as always since abandoned
she crosses his path
she catches his eye.
this girl, this stange girl
has brought hope into his life
she was carrying groceries
for her abusers, for her family
this young boy, dressed in rags
sparked new life in her eyes
just by a mere passing
they are forever changed!
