A zombie Boy
Who loved horror movies
Gore was his joy

He wandered the world
In search of a gal
Who would have the same passion
And be his zombie pal

But he remained sad
Broke and alone
Because this dream girl
Lived in another zone

So he drifted by
Day after day
Waiting for someone
To talk with and play

Until one day
He walked past someone
Who acted just like him
And seemed really fun

This girl that he met
Was a dream come true
She loved all his movies
And made him stop feeling blue

Then he fell in love
With this Zombie Girl
So he asked her one day
“Hey, wanna give it a whirl?”

And he had then found
The love of his life
And she loved him back
So she soon became his wife

The years they passed
Like nothing at all
For they loved each other
From early winter to late fall

And these lovers even had
A few zombie kids
Who ate the neighbor’s dogs
And banged garbage can lids

You would never find
A happier pair
Then this zombie husband
And his lady fair [comments] => 0 [counter] => 208 [topic] => 2 [informant] => whatsername [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
