But when I cry, I shed tears of blood
Leaving my clothes stained in the color of a deep red
For the sorrows of the spirit and the death of the soul
As blood descends from the sky and the storm that rages in Heaven
The sun turns to darkness and we come to know night as day
While we see our memories go by on the winds of fate
As I stare at the blood that drips from the Crimson Stigmata.

When angels cry they bring the heavens rain
But when I cry my tears leave red marks on my face
Because I live in a world that is so full of hate
And it seems like such a struggle just to do the right thing become a saint
To see so much people suffering in this God forsaken place
Then in the end all you have left is your faith
So the Angels of Heaven sing for the prayers that I say
As I stare at the blood that drips from the Crimson Stigmata.

When angels cry they shed their tears to the river of life
But when I cry the tears I shed become a river of blood
Because life is hard but still it’s such a precious gift
And maybe one day I hope that the stars will shift.
But till then and in my heart my tears of blood I shall continue to shed
While I recite to the world the Psalms of a Saint
So that maybe I will one day have the privilege of the Kingdom of Heaven
As I remember the blood that drips from the Crimson Stigmata.

amazing poem. I love reading religous poetry yet very few people ever write any so it's always a treat finding one, especially a good one. This one was very deep, it even gave me chills. Keep up the great work.
