I mean really seen me...
(Past the make-up)
(Past the scars)
(Past the façade)

I try so hard to make you see
I mean really make you see...
(Past the mask)
(Past the tears)
(Past the fears)

But somehow I don't think you have
I mean really truly have...
(Past the hurt)
(Past the ice)
(Past the anger)

And I don't know if you ever will
I mean ever really will...
(Past the laugh)
(Past the smile)
(Past the aura)

You’ve never seen me
I mean really seen me…
(Who I am)
(Who I was)
(Who I am meant to be)

You’ve never tried to see me
I mean really tried to see me…
(The girl I am)
(The girl inside)
(The girl I hide)

You’ve never tried, never wanted
I mean really wanted…
(To know the girl)
(To know the laugh)
(To know the smile)

You don’t know me
I mean really know me…
(Know the hurt)
(Know the pain)
(Know the scars)

So don’t pretend you do...

i liked it, it had alot of feeling to it and really its true most people dont look past the outside and really get to know whats inside and i cant tell you how many times i have felt similar to that and i dont think i really ever be able to say i completly understand you because no one really can you are your own person and only you really knows the truth on the inside but hang in there im sure some things will start to look up

Again another wonderful write. I dont think anyone has ever truely seen us all until they have seen themselves. Hopefully they will see you and everything you are and can be. Keep it up.
