It would
Ever
End like this
You lyin' there
Dyin'
Me
Runnin' out the door
Cryin'.
Never thought
My hands
Would be cover'd in your blood
That I'd run
As you screamed
In agony
That
I'd take a knife
To you
And rip out
Your heart
Like
You did mine.
Never thought
I'd be runnin'
To survive
Runnin'
From the feds
From the horror
Runnin'
From me
The murder
Your murder.
Who ever thought
Love
Gone wrong
That a broken
Shatter'd
Ripp'd out
Heart
Could lead me
To kill you
My first love
My only love
My best friend
My wife.
Was it the drugs
Or the booze
Was it insanity
Was it an act of desperation
Was it
Was it?
Thought
Our love
Was forever
But
Lies
And deciet
Broke us down
And apart
To lonely souls
Sharin' a bed
Livin' together
In silence
And vague lies
Hidin'
Private lifes
And desires
Till
One day
Its too late.
The five o'clock news
Is sayin'
A lady
Found dead
And I've done
The unthinkable
And killed
The only woman
I ever loved
And ran.
