False Truths

False truths surrounded in good will Lead me toward the sugarcoated darkness That slowly reveals The pain of a thousand lies Poised to kill My body, my mind, My soul, Leaving the eternal hole In my heart that will evermore Live tragically cold I see your shadow in the darkest sides Of the endless moment I hide My mind from, the fatal lie I could not bear, my spirit worn From the air being torn from my body, mourned By no one, mocked by you With your deceits, words whispered From your sadistic tongue, truth Never tasted by your wicked lips Through which you weaved your vicious quips With deceptive depictions Of your love for me Timeless has a much shorter length When said in the midst of your breath. Leave me be, for your soul Already disturbs my dreams, The perfect world you told of has a hold On my very sanitythe path you traced Lead me not to blissful grace But instead to the darkness, Your face emblazoned on every being I encounter, beautiful tragedies who never see The innocent hearts in which they kill With their false truths, surrounded in good will.

| This is true. Life is full of many kinds of temptation. This poem contains a sad truth yet hidden between the lines is the hope of forgiveness ( recognizing our mistakes and moving on to not make them again ) |
