So during the week, whilst feeling lonely
I console myself knowing you miss me too.
Absences tears I try to keep at bay,
But it's never long before they start.
Though often you are miles away
Your love for me keeps warm my heart.
Not to say I don't find it hard,
To ache for our bodies to lay entwined,
While I wait for the week to pass,
And the dream I hold to become mine.
They say absence makes the heart grow fonder,
As my love for you shows, I don't have to wonder. Becoming my first, but not my only
Priority- the same is true for you.
So during the week, whilst feeling lonely
I console myself knowing you miss me too.
Absences tears I try to keep at bay,
But it's never long before they start.
Though often you are miles away
Your love for me keeps warm my heart.
