Array ( [sid] => 118420 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I'll only ask you once [time] => 2006-04-16 11:43:02 [hometext] => My 1st poem, about my birth mum who killed herself at the end of August, 4 days before my birthday. It just kind of wrote itself really. Hope you like it. Please leave comments on what you think! [bodytext] => I’ll ask you once and that is all
After everything that’s happened
After everything I’ve been through
You owe me an honest reply.
So I’ll ask you once and only once.
Why did you leave me?
Why couldn’t you stay?
Couldn’t you see how much I needed you?
How much I still do?
I’ve been trying to get by, pretending to be fine,
Trying to convince everyone that I’m OK,
Trying to convince myself as well as them.
But its not working,
I cant go on anymore.
You’ve left me to fight battles alone
That are too much for me to face without you
I’m not strong enough to carry on anymore
I’ve had enough.
I can’t go on pretending.
Ever since you left
I’ve been slowly dying from the inside. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 147 [topic] => 32 [informant] => xxpinkhunnixx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

It reminded me of my grandmother.
You know the feeling you get, so there's no need to explain.

You have described well everything.
I relate it a lot to myself.
:)
