You were a beautiful dream
A dream I wished would never end
I feel that I want to scream
It is over and I can't pretend

I feel emptiness in my heart
I think I'll never love again
I loved you from the start
And it's only myself to blame

You had everything I wished for
Everything a man could have
If only I had known before
That you'd never be my other half

I used to see the sun shine with your smile
And the stars twinkle in your eye
I think it would take me a while
To dry my tears and stop to cry

I keep comparing to you
Every other man I see
And they are never as good as you
Oh! How lonely will I be?

I thought we were perfect together
That we made the perfect match
I will still love you forever
I will never forget you, ever
