A Quiet Love
I am her friend
A man quietly in love
I stand in the shadows
Praying to God above
Lord protect her heart
Broken so many times before
Grant her a true love
Who will her heart adore
A man of uncommon character
Crystal clear vision to see
The pure heart of a wonderful Lady
So very special to me
Make their love so strong
No one may come between
Even if it will mean
My love will never be seen
Give her a happy - contented heart
Overflowing with joy
Grant her this happiness
Forever to enjoy
When the day is over
She rests in love so deep
Let not my love be known Lord
Tis a quiet love I keep
