He held the dagger not the knife
And sliced right through my fragile vein
Until my heart did bleed in pain

This life I live is a tragedy
A sweetened taste of ecstasy
A version cold and in denial
that left me sinning all the while

I want to rip apart my heart
And make it so my lips don't part
to speak the words you need to hear
the words I know you hold so dear

And if I could I'd let it go
I'd burn my wrist, they'd never know
I'd break right down sin by sin
I'd let the flames ignite my skin

This hell that I have slept inside
has torn apart and killed my pride
It held me in its elusive grip
And from its goblet I took a sip

I drank from the best, I got on my knees
Blood on my lips and I still cannot see
I murdered the visions and maimed all the truth
That kept me alive, that kept me from you.

You hurt me so much
I'll never survive
Satan can see, a part of me died
And God will not breathe , his eyes will not close

Amazing and stunning. It's like a whirlwind of deep suicidal emotions. I can only imagine.

Wow. painful and poetic... I can tell that came from the heart... It makes me remember how I felt when I wrote "Balance"

Keep writing from your heart, it speaks well

Take care
