Array ( [sid] => 117022 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Ghostly reminder [time] => 2006-03-25 08:41:39 [hometext] => this poem came pretty quikly it just sorta wrote its self in a way [bodytext] => Your never gonna believe this, but yesterday I saw,
A ghost from my past, quite difficult to ignore,
I had once loved him deeply, but then he went away,
and he left me all alone, just as I am today,

But in those few split seconds, when I saw his glowing face,
There was sorrow etched behind his eyes, like he'd fallen from is grace,
It felt as if he was saying goodbye, even though he was already gone,
And as he slowly slipped away, my heart began to morne,

Just as it had three months ago, on that faithful day,
When you left us all behind, wishing you could stay,
Why you wanted to leave us, i still dont understand,
I long for you to hold me again, in you warm, soft hands,

Now every now and then, I see something that reminds me of you,
Salty tears run down my cheeks and I know just what to do,
I go to the cemetary, and I visit your grave,
To think and remember and try to save,

The memories that we made, together and apart,
These memories I promise to be forever in my heart,
But now I know your watching over me, yesterday was proof,
You held my gaze just long enough, to stop that car killing my youth.
