And I know you’d like it more,
If I remembered dates a bit better,

For you see I remember them in fleeting,
A week or so before,
But with kids and meals and housekeeping,
Time flies right out the door.

Now this doesn’t mean I love you less,
Because now that I’m a mother,
And I know to be remembered is best,
By your children and no other.

I am you little girl
And you are my mother,
You love me like a pearl
And of you there is no other.

I’m lousy at the written letter,
And I know you’d like it more,
If I remembered dates a bit better,

awww does this mean im going to have that same understanding of you when i grow old and have children? we will have to wait and see... haha, i hope nanny liked it.
