Put my soul to a test
Silver bullet my chest
With no vest
For the mess
No glove for the catch
I elect, to sell my bed
For a rest
To catch my breath
I relax, kick back
Rewind tracks
Play them back
Pulling facts
To cover these tracks
feel the heat
Feel the need
To keep the speed
Stop and bleed
Enough to breathe
Fresh air feeds
Fuels the greed
The greedy lead
Plant the seed
The money tree
And the leaves
Dropping greens
In the fall leaving me
So i sweep up
To keep up
The street up
The peace up
Drink big cups
Fill dreams up
Stay out cuffs
Enough is enough
Its never enough
The weak and tough
Walk smooth and walk rough
The joy and the game
The win and the pain
Need hurt to maintain
Live up to your name
If its all the same
To be normal and sane
Walk down memory lane
For a minute of fame
Pulling words from a brain
Like drops of the rain
No snow flake the same
Melt away in a flame
Thats why I stay hot
Gets cold on the top
In the time in your spot
Just a period dot
A moment will stop
The higher the drop
The bigger the pop

Shadow of sparks
