under that wicked, white moon
trying to understand what I was told
and that my time would come soon

Searching for answers will driving in my truck
looking for the demons that harassed my life
not knowing that I was running out of luck
and this was only the first to strike

I suddenly began to understand and realize
I was searching for the devil in the dark night
but he was rattling around inside
and I began to feel the fright

I dropped to my knees in that brown dirt
folded my hands and began to pray
not knowing how it could be that much hurt
and I was face 2 face

Face 2 face
with the devil I was dreading
eye to eye
finally had arrived
but bad as it was
it couldn't have gotten any better
as I was dealing with the devil
Face 2 face

And it would never go away
until the fear that I had been running from was finally embraced

Wow that was great. It was easy to visualize. It kind of reminds me of the movie The Exercism of Emily Rose. I loved reading this poem. I hope this never happened to you. I'd feel really bad, but if it did. Best of luck with those demons. I'll keep you in my prays. God bless you and take care.
