Incredible shaking
Jaw firm and still
Descending and quaking
Searching for the pills
Eyes that are tearing
Hands try to catch
Heart always fearing
Fingers that snatch
Breaths sometimes gasping
Catching and sighing
Hands that are grasping
Eyes always crying
Fingers are folding
Blade of the knife
Hands that are holding
This is her life

Incredible stillness
Shaking all gone
Containers pill-less
Decision all wrong
Eyes that are drying
Fists wiping away
Mind always trying
For just one more day
Breaths become steady
Knife falls to ground
Girl never ready
To disturb with sound
Limbs helping stand
So nobody knows
Handle and hand
Door slams with it’s close
