I try so hard
To just keep
My head above water
I try to understand
What my heart
Is screaming at me
Somedays its gibberish
Lost in translation
Other days I see your face
Floating right out
Of my wounded grasp
I wish I could turn
Back dreaded time
So maybe I wasnt
Choaking in this sea
Of self-hate I created
It stretches for miles
Around my wounded form
It incompasses all
It makes me fight to live.
What I wouldnt give
To have you back
Just once again

| when one gets caught up in turbulent waters sometimes it hard to find your way out... look to your true friends for help, they are always there for you! very expressive write great job. I hope you find your life preserver... |

That wrentching statement, ohhhh what we wouldn't give, and of course turning back the clock, do i hear you or do i hear you. A most powerful peice of poetry your heart speaking loud and clear and quite sincerely i might add. Beautiful write.
