She is not ready for sleep,
The snaking hands of her lover
Smoothly, quietly
Cupping one breast, then the other

Yet..........

She is not ready for love, so
Pushing aside the amorous intent,
Seeks solace in inner peace
Gently, calmly
And not that other, sweet release

But...........

Even as she starts to relax, the
tranquility disappears
Undermined
Slowly, surely
By erotic whispers in her ears

So..........

The hands finally win, and
She succumbs to the touch
Of her lover
Eagerly, completely
Opening herself, only to discover

That..........

Now she is ready for dreams, under
The sweet cover of sleep
Wherein she finds her bliss
Easily, completely
Her journey sealed with a final kiss

Ah..........

Such a tasteful seduction! Such a flow of loving. You're the wordsmith, so I ask you, "Is there a superlative to SUPERB?" Now I'm goin' to go read "Humble Wordsmith". Your postings are like a book I can't put down!
