My rose my angel
My heart and soul
There is nothing that you are not to me
Your petals may fall away
Lose their many shades of red
You can wither even die
I will always love your touch
Your scent upon my fingers
And I will always blush
When you look at me that way
You could cut your wings
You could fall and chose to be like me
Chose to feel the pain I have again
Even bleed
If you ever lose your wings
You would still be my angel
You have saved my life
Please let me try and save yours
If you ever fall apart with hurt
I will give you my strength
And tend to your wounds
Help you heal
Youre so much like my heart
Both have been broken many times
Both afraid to trust
But both go on and start over
But you never really change
You are my soul
The only thing that I have in me
That is special and in any way
Truly beautiful, for ever
You are why I can go on
Why I can be my self and not be afraid
Of what others might say
And less of what others might think
For all these things I will always love you
