settled down in the dust under the sun there she bask O'er the plains there she'd run under the sun, under the sun
and it's sucking up what's inside of her and it's hurting what she's left inside she couldn't leave behind she couldn't let go of her "mine"
under the sun, under the sun where all things' bright, they shine but hidden somewhere it's dark but the corners somewhere don't turn 'round she's stuck in a dead end
under the sun, under the sun It doesn't mean she ain't in the dark under the sun, under the sun she runs...
