I’m looking out into that cold winter wasteland and I’m seeing flowers sprouting where everything is dead. I’m seeing you in my head and I’m so happy. Your smile makes me feel so happy. I just want these moments to last forever, but yet…I know they will. I knew when the first time I kissed you that I would be with you forever. I knew the first time you said that you loved me, that I would have you forever. I’ll be yours forever. You saved me, now I’m going to save you. If you don’t believe me, just trust that I can be your escape. I can save you from all those memories. I can save you from everything wrong in your life. I can save you like you saved me. I’m never going to leave. You bring me so much happiness. Do I bring you as much happiness as you bring me? When I smile, do you feel like you’ve done something to improve my being? Every time you smile, I feel like I’ve made a difference. Every time you tell me you love me, I just want to fast-forward my life so that I can hold you without fearing something. I want to fall asleep with you. I want to hold you near with my pregnant belly and be thanking God that he gave me everything. I want to wake up in the morning and make you coffee and watch the news while the baby sleeps. This is all so far in the future, but I want it to be right now. I’m staring out into the cold winter wasteland and I’m looking up at the cold winter sun and still feeling its warmth. I’m feeling your warmth, and I don’t ever want it to leave. My period is late, and in some insane way I hope it never comes and that by some miracle that inside me is something of yours… I just want it all right now. Every time you smile, I am happy. I’m so happy….
